Sabrina Sumsion is a publicist and radio show host who has focused her last 5 years on assisting authors with gaining publicity. Through her experiences working with a variety of authors from self published to commercially published, Sabrina has gained insights into the literary world and it's many traps and scams. Sabrina first developed a blog with the purpose of making authors aware of the ramifications of their publishing decisions. That blog turned into a white paper for the authors she works with. After 2 years of being asked when she was writing a book on the topic, she finally broke down and typed out her first book, Produce, Publish, Publicize: What every writer should know to create an amazing book, avoid publishing traps and scams as well as increase sales. Produce, Publish, Publicize is scheduled for release April 5, 2010.

Sabrina is also a vocal supporter of early intervention for children with disabilities. When her first child was diagnosed with a developmental delay at the young age of 22 months, she was pulled into the fight to maintain funding for programs that assist children diagnosed with health and mental obstacles. Because of her willingness to speak up, she was asked to sit on the Early Childhood Special Education Regional Planning Team for her school district. She has been asked to present before teachers, administration and government committees about autism and her experiences.
Sabrina is an experienced presenter, workshop leader and keynote speaker. She has presented in school districts and government committees on Autism and Early Intervention. She has also presented to Writer's Guilds and Organizations on publicity topics ranging from the basics of publicity to developing media hooks. With a strong passion to help others, she enters each presentation with enthusiasm and spunk.
Sabrina is also a proud wife and mother of three. She sits on her local library board and is a Tiger Cub Den Leader. To relax, she plays with her children, reads, sings, dances and holds hands with her husband.
